8. Ilm Path may cancel the speaker’s commitment to the event up to 3 days before the event without a penalty. It is your responsibility to always have a backup speaker in case of an emergency or cancellation.
9. For long distance commuting, please be considerate enough to compensate our speakers for their time and travelling costs, as most of them are self-employed and have families to take care of. Please make the check payable to "Ilm Path" and send it prior to the event to 2605 Woodchester Dr - Suite 64 - Mississauga, ON L5K2E3 - Canada. If the event was cancelled, we will send you a refund.
10. It is assumed your venue is equipped with powerpoint presentation facilities. If presentation equipment is not available, please notify us so we would bring our own equipment.
11. The biography of the speaker that will be advertised in any marketing material, or announced to the audience must be approved by Ilm Path, and must be read exactly as agreed. To get a biography, please email

12. If you are going to advertise the event using Facebook, you must post a link both to the Sheikh's fanpage, and another link to www.ilmpath.com
13. A volunteer must be assigned to perform video recording using our HDTV Camcorder, as well as take pictures with our cameras (or yours) of the speakers, the audience, and the venue, as this material would be used to spread the benefit as well as be used for marketing Ilm Path. no later than 2 business days after the event.
14. Audio or video recording is only allowed by the hosting organization, not by any of the audience members. Any recorded material must be reviewed by Ilm Path Staff before it is approved to be released to the public or sold for a fee. Releasing the recorded material without Ilm Path's approval may result in legal consequences.
15. Children under 7 years old are not allowed to be in the speaking room under any circumstances. It is the job of the volunteers to keep them out as well as advertise this condition.
16. The session's MC (Microphone Controller) must remind the audience to be quite before starting to speak, and should not start speaking until the audience are completely quite. It must be mentioned that anyone who disruptes the speech by talking will be asked to leave the auditorium. Our speakers are not going to speak unless the place is completely quite. The volunteers should continue to enforce this rule throughout the rest of the speech or event.
17. A group of volunteers must be present at the venue at least 1 hour before the scheduled speech time in order to: test all microphones, speakers, and echo, test lighting, set up the projector and screen, and arrange seating and tables if needed.
