Ilm Path Academy offers Islamic degrees that are taught through intensive weekend courses about all Islamic topics and life skills training by travelling to a city and offering a course in a single weekend. This is much more effective than halaqas or conferences because the student learns about a single topic in so much depth and in a short period of time to accomodate the busy lifestyle of most people. The students are given a high quality text book that contains the essential points, and are exposed to state-of-the-art PowerPoint presentation. Advanced training techniques are used in all courses to keep the students on their heels from start until end. You will feel that you are a part of an interactive quiz show. You will never have as much fun in learning Islam as with Ilm Path Academy!

Ilm Path Academy was established with the goal of increasing the knowledge of everyone about Islam, to train people with essential life skills, and to offer a level of knowledge that meets or exceeds that which is offered overseas. The level of courses we offer is at an extremely high level (explained easily) that you would not find taught at any local Masjid in North America, or even Islamic Conferences and Institutes.

Our instructors would be more than happy to speak at local community events for Masjids or MSA's. Please send an email to speaker@ilmpath.com and inshallah it will be taken care of, subject to the demanding schedule of our instructors.

We do not charge anything for speaker services, as this is our duty towards spreading the religion of Allah subhanahu wa taala, provided that the speaking event is within a local distance of the instructor. If a Masjid or MSA is in a different city, we kindly request that transportation and accomodation is provided to the speaker if possible. If not, we will make our best effort to pay from our own pockets in order to spread the knowledge of Allah, subject to our budget. However, for teaching University level courses, which usually involve at least 20 hours of instruction, there are significant costs (resources + money + time) involved with teaching such a course that prevent us from offering it for free. Alhamdulilah, Ilm Path Instructors offer free lectures, Halaqas, Friday khutbas, and speaking events across several masjids in North America. However, for a classroom course, there are tremendous costs and time factors that hold us from offering classroom courses for free. For that reason, Ilm Path Academy tries to offer courses for a minimal fee that is affordable by each student, yet at the same time it helps covering the running costs of the Academy.Some of the costs involved with offering any courses are: paying the classroom rent, designing and printing the high quality course materials, grading the exams, issuing the certificates, advertising for the courses, developing more daawa material, designing new courses, paying transportation and accomodation cost for the instructors, paying the web designer and web hosting service, and developing future projects including a completely online interactive Islamic studies degree. We also have over 20 PAID professional employees that are working at Ilm Path Academy, including Graphic Designers, Video and Audio editors, Translators, Web Programmers, and several other positions. We will leave it up to the students to decide if it's better to attend low quality free lectures with no textbooks, or high quality courses where everything was designed in the highest possible level of professionalism.The other factor is that people who work in teaching Islam in North America do not have the funds that are available to Imams or Instructors who live in a Muslim Country, which is usually supported by the Muslim Government. We ask our brothers and sisters Inshallah to benefit from the knowledge we offer inshallah without trying to judge the intentions of other people working in spreading the word of Allah, as it is Allah subhanahu wa taala alone who judges the intentions of the people. If we are doing this work sincerely for the sake of Allah, we ask Allah to help us in our cause. However, if we were mistaken, we ask Allah to forgive us for our sincere try. In the initial stages of Academy, we will be unable to offer any discounts, since our charge barely covers the cost of running the academy and producing the materials for the course. We try to offer courses at the lowest possible price for that course. You could compare how low our prices are compared to other Islamic institutes in North America by doing a simple and direct comparison. However, we do not compromise on the quality when it comes to offer the courses, since it is a trust that Allah will ask us about on the day of judgment. Once the Academy is up and running, we will start to offer scholarships for gifted students or students of low income.

You could register for the course either on our website, at special events promoting the course, on site at the day of the course, or at the end of the previous course. However, please be aware that the price paid for the course will depend on your method of registration as follows:

Online up to the week before the course, or at special events $59 (20% discount)

The week of the course or on-site $75 (the full price)

The last day of a previous course $49 (33% discount)

Most courses were designed to review any pre-requisite info in the class itself. The style of our seminars also makes harder topics taught at everyday easy to understand language. There might be a few exceptions to these standards in which case it will be announced in the course flyer. 

Ilm Path Academy courses are taught using modern interactive training techniques. If you have attended any type of interactive training offered by corporate companies, you know what we are talking about! Ilm Path uses interactive training to keep you on your toes from the beginning of the class to the end. There will be several engaging activities during the course in order to keep the students engaged with the content. All classes are taught using Power Point. The seminars follow a University level lecture rules.

Similar to how Muslims are organized in when they pray as a group as instructed by Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him, brothers and sisters will be separated with the brothers in the front and the sisters at the back. However, both groups will have access to the instructor. All males students, including the instructor will strictly follow the rules of lowering their gaze.

Because Ilm Path courses are taught at your local city, the students have a direct interaction with the instructor, including the ability to ask questions during the Q&A session or during the brakes. Moreover, students could always interact with the instructor using the public forums on the website in order to spread the benefits of knowledge among everyone.
